Harrogate's Pride in Diversity event - Saturday 20 May15-05-2017
Harrogate's first ever Pride in Diversity event takes place on Saturday 20 May, with a fantastic parade through the town on an open top double decker taking place as part of the festivities.
The parade will start at 11am and will finish by 1pm, with rolling road closures surrounding the event as it makes its way around town.
The route of the parade finishes on Montpellier Hill. Between 11am and 1pm, our bus stop on Montpellier Hill will be closed, so the 6 will need to run along Strawberry Dale Avenue & King's Road before rejoining the normal route on Cold Bath Road. This means the 6 won't serve the stop on Victoria Avenue either, so to catch the 6 from town, you'll need to head to the bus station.
Buses on the 6 will pick up additionally at the War Memorial, just beside Betty's whilst the event takes place. Buses heading into town won't be affected.
