It's the 1 for evenings - and Saturday nights!19-09-2017
You spoke. We listened. We've got some exciting changes coming up for you on the 1 for Harrogate and Knaresborough.
The 1 for evenings
From 29 October, we're bringing you buses all the way through to Aspin, Eastfield and Carmires, late into the evening, all through the week.
Buses will still run around every 20 mins between Harrogate and Knaresborough, as they do now, with one bus an hour continuing to Aspin, Eastfield and Carmires.
The last bus from Harrogate to Knaresborough will leave 10 minutes later at 0020, connecting better with the last train into Harrogate to get you home safely.
Stay out on Saturdays
But that's not all. Saturdays are about to get a whole lot more exciting too, with amazing new night buses on the 1.
The 1N will run on Saturday nights, with buses leaving Harrogate at 0110 and 0210, connecting with the Saturday night 36 from Leeds. There'll also be buses from Knaresborough back to Harrogate, leaving the bus station at 0046 and 0146.
The 1N will take a special route around Knaresborough, too - our new late night buses will take you all the way to Aspin, Eastfield and Carmires, dropping you safely on your doorstep. A map and timetable will be available to download here soon.
And don't forget, we don't sleep in on Sundays, either! So whether you're raving or behaving at the weekend, there's a 1 for you.
Get ready to explore
From 29 October, all of our buses on the 1A will finish at St James Retail Park and Aspin, rather than running all the way to Boroughbridge.
Instead, this part of the 1A will become the 21. The 21 will run between Knaresborough and Boroughbridge during the daytime, Monday to Saturday, with some buses during the morning and evening rush hours taking a faster route through Ferrensby.
Look out for the 21 from the end of October - download your new timetable now.
As well as these exciting changes, there'll also be some smaller changes to the timetable on the 1 to improve our reliability for you.
