The Big Switch-On begins at 4pm, hosted by Stray FM, with performances from local groups, bands and artists. The lights will be switched on by Father Christmas himself alongside The Mayor of the Borough of Harrogate at 6pm.

The evening concludes with a short carol service at St Peter's Church on Cambridge Road at 6.15pm.
