Changes to the 36 on Saturdays through December

It's getting busy in Harrogate town centre in the run up to Christmas, with plenty of people heading into town for a spot of seasonal shopping.

On Saturdays in particular, the roads in the town centre are extremely busy. To try to keep things moving for you, the 36 will be using a different route through Harrogate each Saturday throughout December, between 10am and 8pm.

Buses heading into Harrogate from Leeds will turn right at the Prince of Wales roundabout, and won't be stopping at West Park, the War Memorial or Cheltenham Parade on their way into town. Instead, you'll be able to get off at the stop outside ASDA or the bus station.

If you normally catch the 36 at West Park or Cheltenham Mount, you can catch your bus from the bus station, or at Betty's if you're going to Ripon.

Buses leaving Harrogate for Ripon will still use the normal route, stopping by the library, outside Betty's and at the Royal Hall.

If you're travelling to Leeds, we'll be using the usual route through town.

We hope this will help keep things moving for you. Follow us on Twitter @harrogatebus where we'll keep you updated with the latest.
