Simple, fast and direct - 70 & 71 become 7 from 15 April

There's some important changes taking place on the 70 & 71 which you need to know about, from Sunday 15 April.

Sadly, we've lost the funding which North Yorkshire County Council provided for the journeys on the 70 which run through Follifoot. The money has gone to another operator, so we'll no longer be running the 70.

Previously, we funded evening and Sunday journeys on the 70 ourselves to bring you a consistently good service all through the day. It means that we'll no longer run any evening or Sunday buses through Follifoot. The new operator should be able to assist you with any questions on the new service - visit

The change gives us an opportunity to concentrate on making our fast buses between Harrogate, Wetherby and into Leeds even better for you.

We're taking the opportunity to make the 71 even simpler to use - look out for your quicker, simpler 7.

The will run every 30 mins throughout the daytime, FAST along the main roads between Harrogate and Wetherby, with buses running late into the evening. We know you like to make the most of your weekends, so we don't sleep in on Sundays either.

And of course, the comes loaded with all the creature comforts you're used to from The Harrogate Bus Company. That's free WiFi, USB power at every seat, a 'next stop' info system on board, and comfy seats with plush, designer interiors. The 7 is simply superior in every single way.

Don't forget, 7 days' travel between Harrogate and Wetherby is just £16 - simply ask your driver for a Wetherby7 ticket or download our app, Transdev Go, for tickets on your phone and live departures from every stop. Just search for 'Transdev Go' in the App Store and Google Play.
