All aboard for the Great Yorkshire Show!03-07-2018
The world famous Great Yorkshire Show comes to Harrogate once again, from Tuesday 10 to Thursday 12 July. Over 130,000 visitors will flock into town to see England's premier agricultural show.
Our free shuttle bus to the show is the easiest way of getting to the event. Buses will leave Harrogate bus station around every 20 mins throughout the three days of the show.
If you're coming from further afield, save money with a Daytripper from your driver - just £10 gets you to Harrogate on almost any Transdev bus from across the North. Or grab a Daytripper Group for just £19, and up to 5 people can travel together all day - incredible value!
The roads around the showground will be very busy - and closed in some cases. As a result, our buses on the 7 will need to use different routes whilst the event is taking place.
Between 6am and 2pm each day, the 7 towards Wetherby and Leeds will use a different route between Woodlands Corner and Follifoot and Plompton Rocks, and will be unable to pick up or drop off at any of the stops between Woodlands Corner, Pannal Road and the Kestrel Roundabout.
From 2pm until 9pm, buses heading towards Harrogate will use different routes between Follifoot, Plompton Rocks and Woodlands Corner, and buses won't be able to pick up at any of the stops in between.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to pick up or drop off anywhere along the diversion routes, however if you normally catch the bus from Woodlands Corner / Hookstone Chase, you'll be able to jump on at the stop by Eleanor Close instead.
