Moving with the times in Harrogate - some changes from 19 Feb

Here at The Harrogate Bus Company we want to bring you the best buses possible. You tell us that the your number one demand is being on time, and we have looked where we have experienced some timing issues due to increased traffic congestion, and will be making some alterations to improve things. So, from 19 February we'll be making some changes to a few of our routes.

The Leeds Pride Parade will be taking place on Sunday 7 August, and as a result some of the roads around the city will be closed during the afternoon.

We're invading local employers across the north to spread the word about Catch the Bus Week. 

New locally bought buses coming to Lancashire and Yorkshire

We've started to take delivery of our £4 million order of new buses which have all  been designed and manufactured in Yorkshire at innovative bus specialists Optare. The 28 single deck Versa and Solo buses, which pride themselves on having the very latest on-board technology, will go into service across Yorkshire and Lancashire from the end of June.

The 36 goes contactless

Transport minister, Andrew Jones MP helped us launch the introduction of contactless payments on the 36 which will go live this Saturday. The 36 is one of the first bus services outside of London to offer contactless to its customers.
